Through inspiration of my grandfather Sardar Bachan Singh, foundation of Guru Teg Bahadur Educational Academy was laid down in 2006.My grandfather’s dream was to impart excellent and carrier oriented knowledge to people of Banda region. Due to regression in the realm of education my grandfather was constantly restless. Often, he used to talk over this pitiable condition to my father Sardar Joga Singh On the prospects of education he used to ponder over future of upcoming generation. After passing away of my grandfather, my father resolved to accomplish the dream of my grandfather and according to the instructions of my father I set out to accomplish the dream of my grandfather. I named the institution after the same God who gave me inspiration to achieve this goal. We had to tackle with lots of hindrances in the beginning, yet with the grace of God, constant efforts of school committee and co-operation of Banda residents, this institution is progressing by leaps and bounds towards acme.
